This $289 package may be added to the cost of your stay in any of our ten luxury guest rooms, including gourmet breakfast and afternoon social hour each day. Sail: Board the Schooner Freedom at nearby Bayfront Marina for a scenic cruise under sail along the Florida coast, and treat yourselves to beautiful views of the city and perhaps a spectacular sunset. The ship, a double-masted, gaff-rigged, topsail schooner, is an authentic replica of a 19th century blockade-runner. She has sailed St. Augustine’s historic coast since 2001. Each day, winds and weather determine where she will sail, so her route varies from day to day on the two hour cruise. Sip complimentary soda, water, beer, or wine while you enjoy the sea breezes, shoreline scenery, and wildlife. Birders are likely to see many different birds, such as egrets, herons, pelicans, spoonbills, and gulls. Passengers almost always see dolphins, and sometimes sea turtles, manatees, and rays appear.
