Cinnamon French Toast Casserole Recipe
2 Cans of Pillsbury Flaky Grands (This brand rises the best other brands may be used)
Spray with nonstick cooking spray
Pull apart and make two layers of Grands
1/4 cup cream
1/4 Tspn Nutmeg
I mix ingredients first, because then I add 1/2 stick of melted butter (takes 30 seconds)
Mix and Pour Batter over-top Grands
**let sit for 20/30 minutes (do not soak overnight it will not rise)**
Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until slight golden color appears (will brown quickly because of cinnamon) Rises beautifully and has a great visual!
Toppings we use are seasonal fruits. Strawberries and blueberries always work well. Cut strawberries into pieces and sprinkle with sugar and let sit in frig before serving, 1 hour usually. Also, use a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle whipped cream with cinnamon or nutmeg
**Grands come with a cream cheese frosting may be used. Guests have preferred fruits.
